Thanks for reporting your issue. As it is not clear when this issue is
popping up, could you please try to run the install with higher
verbosity and post the output here? I have the feeling that the problem
lies in the dbconfig-common part of the post-install script but can't be
sure with more information.
I think the following would be helping (as super user):
export DEBCONF_DEBUG=developer
apt-get install cacti
** Changed in: cacti (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
