Public bug reported:
If I receive SMS messages, they appear in the notification indicator as
having happened "yesterday", immediately after being received.
I suspect this is an issue with calculating times in UTC instead of
local time. I noticed it less than 7 hours before midnight, and I'm in
UTC-7, so in UTC it's technically already tomorrow, and my local "today"
is technically yesterday. The actual time of day displayed in the
indicator is correct, but the day itself is wrong.
I noticed this on rtm krillin image 162.
It probably isn't an issue in places near UTC, but it definitely shows
up in the west hemisphere. I wouldn't be surprised if eastern time
zones have the opposite symptom, showing "tomorrow" sometimes.
