shijing, so what happened for me in Trusty is that it opened the file in Writer, instead of Impress. I tried renaming the file to example.ppt but this didn't change anything.
However, this does open up in Impress in Windows Vista with MASTER 4.4.0. As I've been able to open .ppt files before in Trusty, this would seem a downstream regression. I'll mark it Medium for now, and if it's a more wide-scoped, in that it is affecting more than just you and I, we may re-evaluate this.
