Public bug reported:
>From last thursday to now I have these mistakes (I have Ubuntu Feisty
Fawn 7.04 in Spanish (ES) so I'll translate the messages and menus into
English in my best):
- Default icon in loaded in nautilus for every kind of document (.odt, .rar,
.pdf, .zip, ...).
- If I "double click" any file I have this message: Cannot open [here, the
path of the file]: No application suitable for automatic installation is
available for handling this kind of file.
- I click the with right button, properties and "Open with.." tab and I add
an application for opening the file (any). From now, it works properly for this
type of files, but the icon is still the same.
- I try to change the icon, as usual, for example, for .rar files: Right
button click, properties, click on the icon, I select my ~/.icons/ directory
and I open the folder of any theme. Icons are not loading. If I click in "Open"
the window closes and I go back to the properties window without watching the
icons selector.
- Evince has stop working. I always get this message when I try to open a
.pdf file: Tipo MIME no soportado: «application/x-extension-pdf». In English:
MIME type not supported.
Any idea? Thanks in advance.
Jorge.
