- Why do you make it a native package? It'd be nice to review the .diff.gz.
- debian/changelog: I'd indent the upstream changes below the 'New upstream',
also I'd remove the upstream bug tracker numbers, they don't make much sense in
the Ubuntu changelog (the average user will ask: "What do they refer to?")
