I didn't think about that angle.  Finding a way to have this work would
be a great thing since I think many people are starting to go the
seperate machine route now that hardware is becomming more accessible.
On the other hand, if it isn't possible to make it work, it would be
very beneficial to have an error message to indicate that the front end
and back end need to be on the same machine and give the options for
making it work.

I can see it not working 100% streamlined "out of the box" but it would
be nice to have scripts or options that could be changed from the
default.  Also, I think the most common configuration would be a single
backend with multiple front ends - but that's just my opinion :)
