I've just installed against upstream 3.18.0-031800rc6 (linux-
image-3.18.0-031800rc6-generic_3.18.0-031800rc6.201411231935_amd64.deb,
linux-headers-3.18.0-031800rc6_3.18.0-031800rc6.201411231935_all.deb,
linux-
headers-3.18.0-031800rc6-generic_3.18.0-031800rc6.201411231935_amd64.deb)
and get the same behaviour. Focus does not go to the encryption key
input box so it is impossible to decrypt my disk and boot. This new
kernel does show one slightly different behaviour: when I type my key,
it is displayed in clear text at the top left of the screen displaying
the prompt box. As before, typing and pressing enter has no effect even
though you can see the password appearing (in the wrong place).
