Public bug reported:

This is a fresh setup on a clean 80gb hdd... i noticed the installation
process was complete and the update was automatcally run... many
packages were downloaded and updated... the latest linux kernel header
was downloaded & updated successfully then the cleanup routine started
but suddenly the setup showed a failure message and i noticed an error
message saying that its unable to install some plugin which i was not
able to see clearly because the window diappeared and then the error
handler stepped in... i've not seen the cinnamon desktop yet! i hope the
above info helps... Thanks for making ubuntu a great os. we love ubuntu.
cheers.
