With Blender 2.71 on Xubuntu 14.04, right-click often crashes as described above when using the Intel integrated GUI (HD 4600, Mesa drivers 10.1.3), but never when using the discrete Nvidia GTX 870M GPU with Nvidia graphics driver 331.38.
