I've built and installed gnu-efi locally. Rebuilding shim with this
version of gnu-efi fails with:

This is probably a bug in the shim code; nevertheless this merge
shouldn't happen before we have this resolved and have verified that
shim is buildable (and works) with the new gnu-efi.
