Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimmie
Gimmie crashes everytime on startup on Gutsy (as it does on any other distro running gnome 2.19) with the following output: Gimmie Version: 0.2.7 TypeError: <lambda>() takes exactly 1 argument (2 given) This issue is beeing tracked here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458048 Even patch has already been written and confirmed to work. (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458048#c1) Could you, mighty MOTUs, please, please apply this patch to the ubuntu gutsy gimmie package? Not having this patch included renders gimmie totally unusable (since it won't start) and gives about five duplicate bug reports per day to the gimmie bugzilla... (and this number is likely to increase with widespread adoption of Gutsy...) It would be great if you could apply this patch to the ubuntu package directly, because right now it seems to take a long time since the fix is actually commited upstream... ** Affects: gimmie Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: gimmie (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #458048 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458048 ** Also affects: gimmie via http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458048 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- Gimmie crashes on startup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138948 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
