same problem here no audio at all when rendering, i read also the threads suggested by aikiwolfie (https://bugs.kdenlive.org/view.php?id=2318) but they solved that bug for what i understand (was a misuse of -b and -ab ... they finally suggest the -vb for video bitrate and -ab for audio..)
