Public bug reported:

I have installed ubuntu with wubi so that my root filesystem is in a file on a
NTFS filesystem. For some time now, on gutsy, new kernels do not boot anymore.
After some investigations, it seems that ntfs-3g and mount.ntfs-3g command
included in associated initrd use '-i' mount option that is not supported by
the mount command from klibc (a chroot in a not working initrd extracted image)
:
# ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 host
/bin/mount: invalid option -i
FUSE mount point creation failed
Unmounting /dev/sda1 (SYSTEM)

** Affects: ntfs-3g (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
