Thank you for your feedback, and the concern of db data loss. I finally
fixed that, tryed the v10 (since it would not mess with the existing
packaged) but i really needed mariadb 5.5 in order to work with mysql
workbench (since it's a drop-in replacement).

Still learning were to look to identify small and easy to fix problems like
that (that are generated by the user). Keep up the good work. The Ubuntu
Unity is getting more and more user proof and rock solid.

BTW, when it shows the apport prompt, if i do "analize locally" ou anything
other than "just send it god dammit!!" (can't remember the option name xD),
it opens the terminal but returns an error somewhat like the "cookie
warnings" on websites, on top of the terminal........is it just me or
something in the fixing queue? =) i wanna be able to help as much as i can
giving as much information as i can when i get errors. Peace.
