$ kvm -cdrom ubuntu-14.10-desktop-amd64.iso -cpu host -m 2G 1. Select "Try Ubuntu" after live cd boot 2. On boot to desktop, open nautilus and firefox. Observe alt-tab switches between apps. 3. Open "Keyboard" settings app 4. Select "Shortcuts" tab 5. Select "Navigation" list item 6. Observe that "Switch Applications" and "Switch windows of an app directly" are both marked "disabled" 7. Click "Switch Applications" to assign a new shortcut. Press "Alt-Backslash". 8. Observe that Alt-backslash doesn't switch applications. I wasn't able to get any other key combinations to work.
