Public bug reported:
Description: Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS
Release: 14.04
After the last apt-get dist-upgrade I did on Friday 2014-12-12, I
encountered a very strange issue.
When I booted the system (or rebooted), the fonts in the login window
(lightdm) and the fonts after I logged in to the KDE desktop were very
small. However, no font settings had been changed.
When I restarted the X server (ctrl+alt+backspace), then the fonts were all
fine.
When I rebooted the whole system, again the same problem until I restarted the
X server.
I noticed that during the last update, nvidia proprietary drivers got an
update and when I went back to the version before the update (sudo apt-
get install nvidia-331=331.38-0ubuntu7 nvidia-opencl-
icd-331=331.38-0ubuntu7) the system worked/works again as expected.
