Hi,

I found a workaround. It seems that also flash is affected by this problem.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3345733

see also bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ia32-libs/+bug/138145/

With installed lib32 libXcomposite.so.1.0.0 acroread starts.
It complains though:
(acroread:7077): Gtk-WARNING **:
/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines/libubuntulooks.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
(acroread:7077): Gtk-WARNING **: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/immodules/im-xim.so:
wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

Cheers,
Konrad
