Public bug reported: When I start the maintenanace task or let the cron job run, apt-cacher- ng often stops on 'Parsing metadata ...' of some package and uses 100% CPU. Unless stopped (service apt-cacher-ng restart), It keeps running forever. I've left it running a few times for 3 or 4 days to see whether it would recover, but it didn't.
