Hello, I am using Ubuntu Gutsy tribe 5, up-to-date. When I start my gnome session, I have no problems. But when I logout, and try to start again a gnome session from the GDM, the background screen of the GDM will be displayed for about 15 seconds, and then back to the gdm login screen. I thought this had something to do with xserver-xgl, but after removal I have the same behavior. I have KDE also, but the problem doesnt apply when using kde session.
