Now I have edited /proc/acpi/wakeup for four weeks and it did not happen again a single time. It really is the XHC1 (USB3) interface waking up the computer.
My still unanswered question again: Why is this b***** enabled by default in the first place? A decade before this bug I already considered it annoying that sleeping computers could be woken up by key strokes. And now in times of laptops, this is a way to kill hardware. People close their lid and put the computer into a case or bag. It should never wake up. An unintended wakeup is a thousand times worse than a failing wakeup. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1391476 Title: [MacBookPro11,1] Laptop wakes up while lid closed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1391476/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
