I am also facing similar issue.There are around 3 to 4 qmail accounts created on my ubuntu 12.04. I want to get rid of all those qmail accounts it's messy and i am not able to install any packages. Tried below commands with no success.Please help sudo apt-get remove qmail sudo apt-get --purge remove qmail; sudo apt-get --purge autoremove; sudo apt-get install qmail
