Not sure how this is happening since kalarm at best will pull in
akonadi-server which will pull in the mysql backend which depends on
mysql-client-core-5.5 OR mysql-client-core-5.6 .
Could you run the following command and attach the output here : sudo
apt-get -o Debug::pkgProblemResolver=true install kalarm

Status: New => Incomplete
