Public bug reported: I'm running Ubuntu 14.10 in a VMWare Fusion VM on an OSX host. When I try to run the emulator via `ubuntu-emulator run <name>`, the emulator window is opened with the screen black as it's being set up. After a few minutes, no more progress is being shown in the terminal, and the screen remains black.
My installed version of ubuntu-emulator is 0.4+15.04.20141125-0ubuntu1. I'm creating the emulator using the default options. The only flags I pass when running is `--scale=0.7` and `--memory=1024`. As far as I can tell, the guest should have 3d acceleration: https://gist.github.com/Nevon/2bbb2d02e4826a4c3d54 The output from creating and running the emulator is available here: https://gist.github.com/Nevon/9f89c4d1be56177a3370 ** Affects: goget-ubuntu-touch (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1405787 Title: Emulator doesn't start in 14.10 in VMWare To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/goget-ubuntu-touch/+bug/1405787/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
