Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

When loading firefox, instead of a familiar firefox interface all I get
is a yellow window saying:

<window id="main-window"
^    <menuitem id="menu_HelpPopup_reportertoolmenu"
----^    <menuitem id="menu_HelpPopup_reportPhishingtoolmenu"
----^    <menu id="helpMenu"
----^

Now, I thought this is the typical corrupt firefox profile thingy, as I
upgraded from Feisty (although with a clean installation, but with an
untouched /home partition). So I moved .mozilla out of the way and guess
what... still happens!!!

Now, I restored my firefox profile and tried to run a binary
distribution of firefox that I got from getfirefox.com... and it works
just fine.

So there is something fishy going on about gutsy's firefox.

Console error message (that not always appears):
[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)
[nsIStringBundle.GetStringFromName]"  nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)"
 location: "JS frame :: file:///usr/lib/firefox/components/nsSessionStartup.js
:: sss_doRecoverSession :: line 281"  data: no]

Installed stuff:
* Kubuntu Gutsy updated as of this morning (although it happened right from the
start, a week ago).
* Firefox package Version: 2.0.0.6+2-0ubuntu3

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
