Public bug reported:

Boot a lubuntu amd64-desktop iso by selecting it in the boot order menu
which is f11 on my motherboard and and at the first menu select English
for the language and then at that menu try to boot from the first hard
disk at the try lubuntu without installing , install lubuntu... menu .
It will say boot failed press any key to continue and then the system
will reboot and boot up normally but will say the boot has failed. I am
trying to chainload grub2 when booting from first hard disk.

Description: Ubuntu Vivid Vervet (development branch)
Release: 15.04

syslinux:
  Installed: 3:6.03~pre18+dfsg-1ubuntu1
  Candidate: 3:6.03~pre18+dfsg-1ubuntu1

hardware profile.

I expected the boot to chainload the first disk in my case my crucial
mx100 ssd which is the first device in boot order.

Instead my uefi system finds no bootable system and restarts. I also get
the same result in some virtual machines using kvm.
