Hi, We're hitting this bug on the latest trusty kernel in a similar context of this docker issue, we also had this problem on lucid with a custom 3.8.11 kernel which seems to be more agressive than trusty but still happens:
https://github.com/docker/docker/issues/5618 In this issue an upstream kernel bug and a redhat bug are mentioned: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81211 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=880394 On the redhat bug there is an upstream commit that suposedly fix the problem: http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=dcdfdf56b4a6c9437fc37dbc9cee94a788f9b0c4 Any chance to have this patch backported to the trusty kernel? Thanks, Rodrigo. ** Bug watch added: Linux Kernel Bug Tracker #81211 http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81211 ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #880394 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=880394 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1403152 Title: unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free.
