Hi I am runing Xubuntu 14.04.1 with the same wifi card (ntel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260). I have the latest bios. The problem with the unstable wifi connection (wpa2, 2.4GHz) appears in kernels > 3.0.13-40. ie 3.0.13.40 works well while the actual 13.0.13.44 suffers with the connection problem. In my case I am running the desktop with the msi H97I AC motherboard.
