Hi all, I have a similar, though somewhat different, problem here. I configured WPA-EAP access for my work wireless network in nm-applet and it got connected. But when I reboot, the system seems to be trying to connect endlessly to the network. I am not asked to unlock the keyring. When I pass the pointer over the applet icon, it shows a message "Waiting for network key for wireless network myconfiguredSSID". In my case, the network ssid is not hidden. Gconf-editor shows me that the wireless network data was correctly saved, and gnome-keyring-manager shows the saved passphrase for that network. At home I have a WEP enabled wireless network and I have no problems there.
I'm using Gutsy, updated today. network-manager 0.6.5-0ubuntu11 network-manager-gnome 0.6.5-0ubuntu8 Any ideas?
