0. Switch your phone to a passcode if you are not currently using one. 1. If bug 1371655 has not been fixed, wait five minutes. 2. Navigate to System Settings > "Security & Privacy" > "Lock phone" > "Lock security". 3. Choose "Swipe (no security)". 4. Choose "Set". What happens: "Incorrect passphrase. Try again." What should happen: "Whenever a passcode field does not contain exactly four digits, [or] a passphrase field is empty ... the main action button should be insensitive." <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityAndPrivacySettings#common-behavior> It may save time to fix bug 1412523 at the same time as this bug. ** Affects: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1412527 Title: In "Switch to swipe", "Unset" is available when passcode or passphrase not supplied To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-system-settings/+bug/1412527/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
