A review of the upstream delta between libvpd 2.2.3 and 2.2.4 doesn't
appear to show any changes related to host endianness, only a series of
fixes for minor compiler warnings and an extensive update to the build
system. Could someone please clarify what there is in this update that
is expected to impact POWER little-endian support?
