Strangely, legacy non-oem install to minissd card only setup completed sucessfully (syslog attached).
I'm wondering now if maybe I need to dd if=zero of=(the ssdcard) now because maybe these sucessful installs have been just reusing the sucessful grub-install that I manually did the first time around. Then I'll try again to reporduce my same inital steps. Any other advice? ** Attachment added: "sucessfull_legacy_instal_to_minissd_card_only_syslog.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1414124/+attachment/4304625/+files/sucessfull_legacy_instal_to_minissd_card_only_syslog.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1414124 Title: install reports unable to install grub to /dev/sdb To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1414124/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
