I can confirm that the bug exists (same laptop model as Ricardo). I've tried both the stock kernel of Ubuntu 14.04.1 (updated), and 3.19 rc5 from kernel.ubuntu.com. I've also tried 14.10 with no-go.
@ricardolotr do you just have to downgrade 14.04 to 3.13.0-44-generic and it just works, or did you have to do anything more? Can you specify any additional information that you think might be relevant. Did it start working after, maybe, after you installed a new CUDA driver, or something else. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1410193 Title: Touchpad undetected in Gigabyte P35W laptop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1410193/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
