> Is there a way to add the mainline kernel as a true PPA so that we get updates automatically?
Would this also restore the CPU governors? The only problem I've found when installing and using the custom kernels directly from the .deb files (like from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/v3.19-rc3-vivid/ ), is that the only CPU governors I'm able to use are Powersave and Performance. Using the stock kernel allowed me to use On-demand (My favourite) and Conservative as well! Any other way to fix this? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1384342 Title: kernel messages intel_crtc_wait_for_pending_flips correlate to compiz hang To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1384342/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
