Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compizconfig-settings-manager

I'm unable to disable the shortcut keys for the actions found under
"General Options" -> "Actions" -> "General", such as:
 * Close Window (Alt+f4)
 * Maximize (Alt+f10)
 * Minimize
 * Slow animations
 * ...

I have tried both editing the cell and pressing Backspace, and double-clicking
the row to get a dialog. After doing any of these, the treeview reloads, and the
shortcut is still the same.

I have found a work-around, by using gconf-editor, and editing the keys under
/apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/ .

This works for all actions, but after
a reboot/relogin(?) most keys are reset to their default shortcut (applies to
close window, maximize, minimize, etc., but not to e.g. Slow animations). It
seems to not work for the keys that are highlighted with a blue color in ccsm.

Maybe this resetting after reboot is a bug in compiz as well?
