You have been subscribed to a public bug: I've installed Mint 17.1 based on Ubuntu 14.04.
This contains the 2013.1.13AR.1 version of ntfs-3g. This version is (badly) out of date. In fact, some very important features do not work correctly, see http://www.tuxera.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=30860 for details. A new stable version ntfs-3g-2014.2.15AR.3 has been available for a while. Would it be possible to make this version (and its dependencies) available in some repository for installation? Note: Debian packages are already available (https://packages.debian.org/sid/ntfs-3g), however, a manual install failed due to too many dependency problems. ** Affects: ntfs-3g (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ntfs-3g is badly out of date https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1414275 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
