Public bug reported:

Running kde4 on gutsy/AMD64, I've followed the kubuntu instructions for
kde4.0 beta2 (http://kubuntu.org/announcements/kde4-beta2.php). Starting
a kde4 session from KDM simply hangs. If I run startkde manually fom an
empty X session, I get "Qmutex::lock: deadlock detected in thread". I
only see this message if I remove the redirect to /dev/null from the
qdbus line in startkde, so I believe this is the hang point (also
runnning qdbus from the command line results in the same error).

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
