** Description changed: After I update the kernel to 3.18.0.9.9, Unity freezes few minutes after login on Vivid. This happens for any compiz based session like gnome- flashback(compiz). I tried booting with both the systemd & upstart from boot menu, but the outcome did not change. Ctrl+Alt+F1 or Alt+SysRq does not work after freeze.
