Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce: 1. Disable the crappy overlay scrollbars in Ubuntu 2. open some file in gedit long enough to ensure scrolling 3. maximize the window 4. move the mouse cursor all the way to the right of the screen 5. click and drag up or down
Expected: should be moving the scrollbar Observed: nothing happens. In order to grab the scrollbar you have to move a little bit to the left, because the last pixel on the right does not belong to it. In other words, the scrollbar fails to be "infinitely wide" when it could (and hence should), making it painful to grab. At first I thought this was generic to Ubuntu's scrollbars, but then I have tried other programs (which seem to use the standard scrollbars as far as I can tell) and they don't exhibit the issue.
