Public bug reported: I've noticed lately that, if I leave the settings app open but unfocused overnight, it becomes unresponsive in the morning. I think it may be getting a backlog of events or something along those lines, because if it's only in the background for an hour it'll eventually become responsive when I try to use it again. I think the duration of unresponsiveness correlates with the duration it was left alone in the background.
This was on krillin rtm image 222, but has been happening for a while. An easy workaround is to close the app and re-start it, but it probably shouldn't be getting stuck after being idle. ** Affects: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Status: New ** Tags: ueqa -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1416119 Title: setting app freezes if left in the background too long To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-system-settings/+bug/1416119/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
