Yvan Masson, just to clarify, the scope of this report is only about suspending at all (not about an issue performing subsequent suspends within a minute after a resume from suspend, or any of the other issues mentioned). All of the other issues would need to be filed as separate reports, one per distinct issue.
Despite this, I am closing this report because as per https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1406325/comments/24 the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Vivid Vervet. This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please perform as much as possible of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
