The problem persists even with the kernel 3.16.0-30-generic. I use a laptop HP Envy 17 and run Linux Mint 17.1 "Rebecca" (Mate 64bit), based on Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty Tahr".
The fix suggested by Adnan ( http://askubuntu.com/questions/453605/ralink-rt-3290-bluetooth-problem-on-ubuntu-14-04 ) let the bluetooth adapter to be recognised when running rfkill list all However, I can't find any relief following this additional solution: http://downloads.zotac.com/mediadrivers/mb/download/NB087_Ubuntu.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1189721 Title: Ralink RT3290 doesn't have a bluetooth driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1189721/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
