I still have a problem. I have been trying to purge nautilus-dropbox but the error message I get says:
Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it? When I run sudo pkill PROCESS, nothing happens and I still have the same problem I started with. I have a dropbox icon but it doesn't do anything and there is a dropbox python script file and nautilus file in usr/bin but they can't be removed because the owner is "root."
