Hello and thank you for taking the time to file a bug. It appears you are installing from an external source, while we can't really support this, by the error you describe all you need to do in order to fix this is run sudo apt-get installl -f to install the additional packages that 'xiphos' depends on. For further instructions, please refer to the provider of the package you downloaded.
If this is not the case, please feel free to change the status of the bug report. Thanks, and hope you have a wonderful day. ** Changed in: sword (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1407016 Title: package diatheke (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/diatheke', which is also in package libsword 1.7.4-1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sword/+bug/1407016/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
