I've taken a look after the title was updated earlier today. Starting with Ubuntu Vivid, gcl has built successfully on all architectures (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcl). In turn, acl2 has built succesfully on arm64. There's still a build failure with ppc64el, but since gcl is available I don't think that's directly related to this issue. I wonder whether this can be closed and possibly a new issue should be created for the current ppc64el problem.
