I just had the same problem. I created a new user account, logged out
and selected the new user account to login in with. I entered the
password and the login screen disappeared, then a black screen, but
moving the mouse showed the lock screen. On the second attempt I could
login.
I also logged out from a wayland session, returned to a normal X session
and then back to Wayland, the above occurred again. I logged out and
selected restart from the menu on the top right, and it seems those two
sessions were not terminated as it says that I have two users currently
logged in, which were the failed login attempts.
Fran did you get something similiar to the above?
