This error also effect me.

Doing a Google search there seems to be a lot of people with the same
problem, much more than just the 3 listed here.

I have not been able to find a solution to fix the problem.

Myth works except Commercial detection and removal which is why I wanted
to use Myth in the first place.

I am new to Linux, and I installed Mythbuntu about 6 months ago and
received this error, during the install and also each time I try to run
various processes like updating.

I even tried re-downloading and starting from scratch, but received the
same error.

The System is running on a HP NL-40 microserver which is AMD based.
