Hello Christopher, with people from the LUG Balista we have solved the problem. My Monitor ! (16:9) settings are misaligned during the Update from 12.04 to 14.04. In the LUG we have only 4:3 Monitor, so the problem was not reproducible. After more than three times in the LUG come a friend to my home and we look together to rectify the fault. At least he said look at the Setting at your monitor. And so we found the solution. My friend do not now, why this problem was. But now my monitor works normal. Thank you for help. Wolfgang
