Same here, I have the problem on Ubuntu 14.10 after uninstalling my
Nvidia drivers.. My desktop nevers loads, I have just my mouse cursor

openConnection: connect: No such file or directory
cannot connect to brltty at :0
Script for ibus started at run_im.
Script for auto started at run_im.
