See: http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=13415

After following the instructions from the RAM support tech:

- Change CPU bus to 233 from 200
- Change CPU multiplier to restore stock clock (actually a slight overclock)
- Change DRAM voltage from 1.5 to 1.6
- Increase CPU-NB voltage by 0.1V to 1.225v
- Manually input RAM timings

The BIOS reports everything took, but Ubuntu 14.04 is reporting a CPU
processor speed of 2.8 Ghz and RAM speed of 1600 Mhz

See any of the Phoronix benchmarks posted there for evidence.

As far as I can tell, the CPU is running at the higher clock, but Ubuntu
is mis-reporting.
