Public bug reported:
I am using Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn. I have gnome-panel 2.18.1 and
Thunderbird version 1.5.0.13. Every restart when I first launch
Thunderbird, gnome-panel changes it's position to the either of the two
sides of the screen.
